PODILLIA POTTERY CENTER
The publication is dedicated to a unique pottery center in Podillia region – Mynkivtsi. Not a lot of people know about this village though it is worth of attention: bowls made by the masters of this center represent interesting and unique works, which are usually a subject of confusion for researchers, who take them for the works from other centers, in particular, from Smotrych Khmelnytska ob-last. However Mynkivtsi’s masters’ works have a number of specific features. The author of the article Olena Klymenko is trying to define these features comparing them with the works of other centers of Podillia folk ceramics.
