THERE EXISTS SUCH A STUDIO
A famous master of Ukrainian monumental and decorative art Oleksandr Saenko, who became deaf and dumb in his childhood and whose name is inserted into the list of the outstanding figures of the world culture, during a number of years had dreamed to create an art studio for talented children and teenagers who have problems with hearing. His dream came true only at the end of 2001. Unfortunately the master didn’t see it. On the basis of the master’s daughter Nina Oleksandrivna’s creative workshop and due to her efforts the studio involves children to art education, provides professional knowledge, develops thinking in categories of art and ensures formation of a full-fledged personality. The studio’s teachers Nina Saenko and Lesia Maydanets-Saenko tell about the studio and achievements of its participants.
