The two weeks of intensive symposium work proved expediency of such form of masters’ competition. In Chyhyryn Palace of Arts the participants demonstrated two hundred works. Half of them were Liubov Ktitorova and Tetiana Vlenenko’s pysankas. (By the way it was Tetiana Vlenenko who launched the pysankas collection in Chyhyryn museum.) Vo-lodymyr Tytarenko, the author of the article, analyses the masters’ achievements and experience of master-classes in decorative painting, pysanka’s painting and wicker-work, emphasizes the necessity of its expansion and promotion. Special attention the author pays to Oleksandr Vakulenko’s painting on the front wall of “Chyhyryn” reserve, to the potter Yev-hen Postupaylo’s bowls, to the carver Andriy Kamene-tsky’s works and others. He outlines quantitative and qualitative growth of the symposium organized by the NUFAMU with the support of the Ministry of culture and Tourism of Ukraineand National Historical and Cultural Reserve Chyhyryn and which has been held already for the fourth time.
