Art Mosaic. Exhibitions. Correspondence. “Anastasiya Rak in Poltava” – information presented by Viktor Furman. It’s about the artist’s exhibition that took place in February in the area where she came from. Olga Kurchakova, the director of the gallery, told about Anastasiya Rak’s difficult fate and creative work. The works for the exhibition were provided by the NUFAMU and Ivan Gonchar Museum. Under the heading “Philatelist’s Column” a reader can observe the stamps with the pictures of Ukrainian village houses from different regions. “Pysanky from Nure” – the information is provided by Zoya Stashuk, honorable folk master of Ukraine. She tells about Ukrainian exhibitions and master classes in France, which have already become traditional. The French express great interest to Ukrainian Easter customs. Khfedir Velykokozarskyi tells about commemoration of the memory of the painter from Zhytomyr Oleksiy Makarenko. The author believes that his ideas are implemented by his followers. “Easter’s Pysanka” – is a name of a month’s All-Ukrainian exhibition that started on April 4 in the NUFAMU’s hall. On the basis of archaic symbols sources the masters from different regions of Ukraine created a wonderful world peculiar to their areas. Pysanky from Nad-Dniprianska Ukraine area attracted special attention. |
