Material from a journey. In 1822, the Royal Mountain Agricultural Society of the country started an annual agricultural exhibition not far from Edinburgh. Since then such exhibitions have become the main event under the sky of “The Foggy Albion” and one of the most spectacular agricultural shows in Europe. Valeriy Yasynovskyi spoke to the head of “The Royal Mountain Show” Mr. David Dansmir. He found out that the longevity of the above mentioned show is by intention from the organizers to rely upon not only their own history but upon their future. Scots like to combine traditional and modern elements.
