Embroidery is her passion It's a story told by the expert in arts Serhiy Latynskyi about a talented embroiderer from Melitopol area, the Union member Nadiya Denysiuk. Nadiya has been fond of fancy-art from her childhood. At first she learned embroidery secrets from the books and later, being retired, she could devote herself totally to her favorite occupation. Nadiya Denysiuk was taught by famous embroiderers from Zaporizhia area Valentyna Kharlova and Svitlana Ihnatenko. She became their follower, participant of a number of exhibitions and festivals. The main theme of her creative activity is Cossack's rushnyk, its monumentality. Her creative activity Nadiya Denysiuk combines with pedagogical and exhibition work. Traditional Ukrainian art will continue to flourish with such masters and their unfading rushnyky. |
