ABOUT FOLK ART — potter Serhiy Radko’s point of view and speculations. The author treats folk art as a guide, path that leads us, as a road, as a river and unselfish aspiration for beauty, as a consequence of a human’s existence amidst nature. The master treats folk art as pictures of aesthetic codes of our subconsciousness, “holly letter” of our aesthetics. The author thinks that all centuries and millenniums of our tradition are hidden not in a soul but in folk art, everything is discovered and seen — compositional schemes, rhythmical constructions, colorful ranges and deep healing content of folk world outlook. Love appears when you are in love and inspiration. Serhiy creates his pottery items with such thoughts.
