FINE ARTS MYTHOLOGICAL COILS Ethnologist Ihor Poshyvaylo continues the topic of investigation of myth poetical conception about the folk creative activity, in particular, he learns the genesis of mythological conceptions about appearance of the first master, divine origin of the handicraft and its further development. The author gives examples and analyses a number of myths of different peoples about the creation of the world, human’s birth, creation and patronage of handicraft, sacral masters’ status. He discovers world archetypes that became the basis of developed cosmogonical systems of the ancient times. In the article there are interesting examples of peculiarities of people’s ideas about divine blacksmiths, potters and weavers that state historical and metaphysical stages of human’s acquiring materials and elements, physical and cultural space. |
