THE TEACHER’S LIFE
The Ukrainian art weaving patriarchy Serhiy Hryhorovych Nechyporenko celebrated his 85th birthday. Out of them about sixty years he has been working in the field of spiritual culture of Ukrainian people. The master is one of the organizers of the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine. Nowadays professor Serhiy Hryhorovych shares his knowledge and experience with the students of the Kyiv State Decorative and Applied Arts and Design Institute. In 2005 he published a unique album-manual “Ukrainian Soft Furnishings and Tapestries”, in 2007 he was awarded with Serhiy Kolos art award. Viktor Furman, Head of Poltava NUFAMU center tells about the teacher and mentor, honest, clever and professional man whom he has known for 50 years.
