26 - 27 January 1990 the Union Constituent Congress took place. The Decree "On Creation of the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine" was passed and the Statute was approved. After 17 years from this historical event one of its organizers, and since November 2004 its Head, Yevhen Shevchenko shares his memories about its formation and development. He tells about the Union every day life and its holidays — exhibitions, symposiums, about the masters and plans for future.
