MARIANA KOVBASIUK PYSANKA’S MAGIC. Mariana Dzhumachuk (now Kovbasniuk) grew up in the village Kovalivtsi, Pokuttia region in the family of high art life culture. She was fond of creative activity of her relatives and since then has been in love with folk art. Ivano-Frankivsk institute and Glukhiv university opened in her the talent of a teacher – she brings beauty, good, love for the beautiful to the youth of the regional state center of scientific and technical creativity of youth. By her inspired activity she is trying to revive the lost pages of Ukrainian national heritage and encourages the students to do the same. Having mastered Carpathians pysanka’s ornamental design and symbolism she elaborated the program for pysanka’s painting clubs. The master has in her activity more than 5 thousand pysankas, she had 5 personal exhibitions only in 2005, a participant of a number of group exhibitions. Mariana Kovbasniuk tiny masterpieces are displayed in many museums of Ukraine and abroad. The author of the narration is Vasyl Kavatsiuk. |
