It was for the fourth time that the Bohdan’s capital accepted participants of the All-Ukrainian pottery art youth symposium, organized by the Union supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine, National reserve “Chyhyryn”, Cherkasy regional administration and the “Silski Visti” newspaper editorial staff support. Valeriy Yasynovskyi considers this year pottery masters meeting not only great in number but great in quality. In his narration about the art of producing ceramics the author at first introduces the readers its participants, masters-supervisors, characterizes each individuality and their achievements. Serhiy Redko is the author of the masterpiece of the fire-brick waterfall, that has been decorated Chyhyryn ever since. Oleksandr Shafirov is the expert in Aegean ceramics mysteries and Damask families secrets. Yuriy Nechay, who conquered Japan, represents Ukrainian art “alive” in the international exhibition. Ivan Bobkov, who has recently got the “Grand-Prix” award for the sculpture of the lion from the fairy tale at the annual festival in France and others. About a month on the reserve basis there lasted the mystery of art fantasy on the topic ceramic Hetman dishes. At the end of the Symposium these dishes fascinated its numerous guests. The winners received greetings, awards and presents.
