SWEET CAPTIVITY OF CREATIVITY
Under the title “Self-portrait” the writer, NUFAMU member Oles Dorichenko told the readers how ten years ago he took up painting after being a professional dancer. Though unconsciously he was ready for this all his life. Visiting a number of museums, meeting a number of painters, personal meetings with Kateryna Bilokur, David Sikeyros, Ivan Honchar gave the push to the necessity in creativity. Oles Dorichenko’s creativity is full of Ukrainian essence, it has become a moment of truth and confession to the master. The material is illustrated by the works from the exhibition in the NUFAMU halls dedicated to the 70-year birthday anniversary of the author.
