It was participation in the Global Youth Exchange Program that encouraged Igor Poshyvaylo to write the article. Besides scientific discussions and presentations the Program took its participants into the Japanese historical and cultural world from Tokyo and Kyoto as far as to the legendary Okinawa Archipelago. The author was impressed by the Japanese ability to save national originality and social virtues, to join two absolutely different worlds of the traditional past and modern future.
