Zoya Pasichna’s works in Ukrainian decorative art are distinguished by unique and specific character. Having graduated from Kyiv Decorative and Applied Arts College in 1967, she moved to Odesa, where she lives and works now. In her works the master combines mysteries of her native Zhytomyr woodlands and colors of the Black Sea area. Whirlpool of great imagination framed into a soft shape has always charmed the viewers at 20 personal and more than 30 collective exhibitions. The master’s works are kept in museum and private collections of the world. In her works Zoya Pasichna reflects both memories about childhood and traditions of Petrykivska decorative painting school. Steppe and sea are dominants of her Odesa period creative activity. The author of the story is Ivan Rafalskyi.
