Dmytro Shynkarenko, a participant of the 2005 Ceramic Symposium in Chyhyryn, considers it to be traditional. It was not a simple congress and joint work of young masters, this was a wider event. The number of participants and the depth of the problems have grown significantly. There are the plans to turn the All-Ukrainian symposium into the international one. The most expressive was the excursion part, traveling to Bogdan Khmelnytsky’s motherland Subotiv, to “Kholodnyi Yar”, to the Ukrainian pottery center Opishne. The participants were inspired by their visit to the native places of the famous potters Oleksandr Seliuchenko, the Poshyvaylos, meeting with Mykhaylo Kytrysh.
