On March 7, 2006 in the Ukrainian Folk Art Masters National Union hall the Ivano-Frankivshchyna’s masters’ exhibition was opened. There were presented the works of embroiderer Yevgeniya Genyk, an honorable folk art master of Ukraine, ceramist Vasyl Strypka and carvers Svitlana and Petro Korpaniuk. The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko visited the opening day together with his family. He viewed the exhibition and had a warm interesting talk with the masters about Ukrainian folk art, further ways of its development. The author of the information is Mykola Makhinchuk.
