UKRAINIAN ART AND JAPANEESE SAKURA These are Tamara Vakulenko's, deputy head of the Kharkiv Office, impressions from her business trip. By the way, she was on this business trip together with her colleague egg painter Tetiana Vlenenko (the other time in such trips there were a potter Yuriy Nechay and Mariya Kravchuk, the egg painter from Kyiv Zoya Stashuk and painter Valentyna Deka were at the "Expo - 2005" exhibition). 17 days out of 20-day staying in Japan the master worked at the worldwide "Expo - 2005" exhibition at a small desk, surrounded by visitors, their attention and interest to the distant Ukraine, its art and masters. The visitors were excited by Petrykivki painting, the master's family whose mother (Hanna Samarska), husband and daughter are painters. And our masters were excited by the wonder of the country of the rising Sun. The material is illustrated by the photos taken in Japan. |
