KARLIVKA MEETS GUESTS
Viktor Furman, the Head of NUFAMU Poltava Office, informs about the second exhibition of sacral and decorative works in Karlivka under the slogan "Arise, Pysanka!" (pysanka - the Easter painted egg). There the works of the folk masters from Poltava region in painting, folk embroidery, wood-painting, pampiniform, straw application were presented. The students of the local gymnasium demonstrated their successes in painting; there was an interesting exposition of the teachers and students from Hadiachy Cultural College named by Kotliarevskyi, as well as the exposition of the guests from Poltava Pedagogical Institute and others. The author of the article is glad to point out that in Karlivka the art of egg painting has got a new inspiration.
