In the past a professional singer Vasyl Zavhorodniy, whose 80th birthday we celebrate this year, raised from the depth of his soul one more God's gift. Looking at his sculptures, woodcarvings, paintings one feels the inner melody of the works. Though the artist's works have different direction, all his heroes have common psychological features, as if they are consecrate and know the true sense of our existence on the earth. Vasyl Zavhorodniy is not afraid of difficulties, he continues woodcarving and trying to combine modern with eternal. The author of the jubilee article Dmytro Shynkarenko finishes it with the words: "Let him live long!"
