Volodymyr Yermol'yev, an honorable member of the Artists Union of Ukraine, senior lecturer of Vinnytsia Medical University, tells readers about the art works of one of the brightest representatives of Vinnytsia region naive painting Ivan Habryshyn. The artist's talent has made him shine like a star. After the age of 60 he has become a laureate of honorable diplomas and certificates for 10 years of his creative work. He is the participant of both all-union and international exhibitions. The main artist's achievement is creation of his own image painting system as well as original interpretation of painting language. His creative style is a symbiosis of folk art and individualized spirituality, philosophic interpretation of history, historical semantics with the elements of specific realities of the past. His painting style is characterized by depicting large spatial shapes. This unique space is full of subjects, people that are always scarcely noticeable, but absolutely necessary.
