In January - February 2004 in the NUFAMU Nina Sayenko's, honorable art worker, exhibition was held. Nina Sayenko is an experienced art worker, director of a number of large-scale art actions, specialist in museums. She inherited from her father, Oleksandr Sayenko, true love for folk art. The artist creates her own unique world: the scale of her creative work is very wide - from a tapestry with a difficult topic composition, carpets, straw mosaic to decoration of cultural centers, schools etc. Mansion of the People's Artist Oleksandr Sayenko museum has been created with her participation in Borzni, Chernihiv region. The daughter presented the museum 1000 works and her father's collection of folk art articles. Nina Oleksandrivna is also a founder and director of the Art Studio for deaf and dumb children. On charity background she created for them conditions for being the masters of decorative art, for esthetic and ethic education. Iryna Horodetska shares her perception of the master's works: tapestries, deep by their essence, penetrate into subconsciousness, heart and design is read on the level of genetic memory. The same impression produces straw mosaic. It should be mentioned that the daughter is a worthy successor of her father's traditions in mosaic technique.
