(p.36) Volodymyr Onyshchenko, a ceramist, writes about an exhibition in the Union Tree of Life as well as art works of Oksana Smerechynska-Martynovych. A graduate of Lviv I.Trush College of Applied Arts and the Institute (now - Lviv Academy of Arts) Oksana combines teaching activity with very art. She participated in the oblast, all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions. In 1994 she had a personal exhibition of black fuming ceramics in the Museum of Folk Architecture and Every Day Life in Lviv. Along with traditional dishes, created on the potter's wheel, the master has some pieces, made with fancy. That's easy for her to improvise, to find topics and show virtuosity of modeling. She showed herself as a wonderful master of small plastic pieces.
