VYTYNANKY. 2003.
(p.28)One of the brightest exhibitions of 2003, considers an art critic Hryhoriy Mishchenko - was an exposition of vytynanky by Mykola Telizhenko, Cherkasy artist, a graphic artist, a sculpturer, a member of the National Artists' Union of Ukraine. Art works of the master witness, that a notion of national culture is realized in the synthesis of folk and professional creative work and it further more influences the formation of civilization processes of the XXI century. That's necessary to turn to beginnings in order to create something new. Just via this way the artist arrived at creation of modern, contemporary vytynanka. The artist has created something we can follow the whole way from traditional vytynanka to the contemporary kind of graphics for 10 years. Velesovi Perevesla series became the evolutionary completion, in which we have innovation genre of graphics as to its content and national as to its shape.
