Iryna Yanina, scientific worker of Sumy Art Museum, presents a new name - a teacher of art weaving and embroidery from Sumy Pedagogical Institute Olha Huley. The painter inherited art skills from her granny, a master of "weaving folklore". She attended an art studio in Kyiv, studied at the art school. Then she continued her studies at Lviv Decorative Applied Arts Institute and after worked for Sumy art works. Huley is a constant participant of a great number of exhibitions - All-Ukrainian, regional. The master's works are kept in Ukrainian museums and in private collections in England, France, Germany, Canada. The author presents analysis of the master's activity, outlines her constant search - aspiration for improving embroidery technique, using different means and methods. Lately she started to apply embroidery technique with gold, silver and silk threads. She makes compositions on religion topics.
