(page 21) Dmytro Shynkarenko, a student of Creative Art and Architecture Academy tells about his mother Olha Shynkarenko's activity. She started it in the art school in Kuban, continued in the Art and Industrial College in Kyiv. The master tries herself in textile applique work, painting. In 1989 she attends Petrykivskyi painting training course, and since then decorative painting becomes the methods of her thinking, the means of self-expression. The master is fond of this activity and the necessity of this kind of'art revival in Kyiv region. The images of higher level change initial applique work. Each work is in national style. At the same time special attention is paid to color, and practically magic rejection of black. Another one hobby is pysanky with coded symbols of ancestors. A new direction in her activity is monochromatic vytynanka, that is born with enormous speed. Visitors of a great number of exhibitions, in which the master participates actively, are impressed by artistic universality and scale of creative search.
