The works of pottery master Fedor Hnidyi (1893 - 1980) occupy one of the main places among the treasures of museum of folk art in Slobozhany. The town Valky in Kharkiv region was always a famous center of pottery. Its bowls, toys were in great demand at fairs of the big region. Both Fedor Hnidyi and his pupil Borys Tsybulnyk were born in Valkiv region, Tsybulnyk - in the village Sharivka. Tamara Lysenko tells about the unique talent of the last, his creative development, participation in pottery symposiums in Sednev, Bubnivtsi. Deep respect of national traditions led him to the hobby of collecting of folk art works. Many of them he gave to museums.
