UKRAINE LIVES, UKRAINE WILL LIVE! Under this name the exposition in Slobozhany folk art museum, organized together with the local Folk Art Union office and dedicated to the 100 anniversary of the XIIth archeological Congress, was held. 586 works of 78 authors were exhibited at the exposition. It demonstrated the contemporary state and directions of development of Slobozhany folk art and became a real holiday both for masters and visitors. Olha Yevseeva, director of the museum, underlines the widening of participants geography, the great preparatory work that guaranteed demonstration of the best folk art works of the region. There were: embroidery, decorative painting, vytynanka, weaving, tapestry, wood and stone carving, ceramics, works from straw, beads, jewelry etc. The author of the article names the best masters and hopes that Kharkiv oblast will continue to give birth to new talents. A number of children's and youth festivals and competitions of folk art are proof to this hope.
