Inna Vapniarska, a graphic artist by education, has devoted her talent to national cultural and artistic movement. Her decorative pictures are made in conditional three-dimensional space. Hryhoriy Mishchenko, art critic, sees in the master's works significant innovations. At the exhibition only some works were treated like "of one plan" where the author inherited traditions of folk artists. The time put its own demands: to make decorative painting in space metaphysics. Vapniarska coped with the task of the time and this is the greatest achievement in her works. In conclusion the critic underscores the importance of folk art implementation into professional activity of Ukrainian artists. This gives the basis to state that we won't loose, as in Europe, spiritual treasures of a number of generations. Besides, due to synthesis of folk and professional approach in creation of images new types of painting appear.
