# 19-20 (3-4).2002
This year "Folk Art"
Magazine has celebrated its
5-th anniversary. So, the mas-
terpieces of our national
treasury became closer to
readers. Hundreds or even
thousands of people, who take
a great interest in beauty as
well as artistic traditions of
Ukrainian people, have seen
the best pieces of embroidery,
tapestry, weaving, craving,
ceramics, decorative painting,
naive painting and artistic
metal processing. The majo-
rity of materials of this issue of
the magazine is dedicated to
the culture of Vinnychchyna
(Vinnytsia region). This region
of Podillia is peculiar by show-
ing its respect to the deep
sources of the ancestor's cul-
ture as well as by very unique
achievements of the contem-
porary folk art masters.
