Comprehensive research of Ukrainian folk art and its historical roots is fundamental to Myroslava Petrivno's aspirations and successes, to her achievements in creating new ornaments for apparel, towels, tablecloths and cloth napkins. Being a scientist-mathematician, Myroslava Kot has very professionally exhibited to the world the achievements of our nation in the art of embroidery. For the first time in the study of art, she substantiated Drohobych embroidery as a unique phenomenon in the history of our art, and introduced its most important monuments to world art research.
